Base Camp Leasing has a 120-acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Dutchess County, New York. This hunting lease is in WMU (3G). The border of Connecticut is about 5 miles west; border of Massachusetts is 21miles Northeast and NYC area is 80 miles south. I have not inspected this property. I will inspect early spring. The TOPO map shows several hilltops and saddles. There is a small stream on east side of lease. Landowner recently had logged. Logging complete with exception of some established trails to be cleaned up. The landowner rides his dirt bike occasionally during summer. So, the trails will be quality trails. Landowner stated several big landowners bordering property do not allow hunting. TOPO looks like potentially could be a great hunting lease. The landowner has a nice landing to park camper if interested in camping while hunting. Camper must be removed at end of hunting season; ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes only. You would be allowed to post the property. The location is what makes this property valuable for hunting. NYC area is less than an hour and half and being extremely close to the hunters in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Been with Base camp for 12 years and have had only a handful of leases come available in this part of New York! NOTE: THIS PROPERTY HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED.
